Frequently asked questions
What counts as a scan?
One full audit of one repository: indexing, all analyzers, scores, architecture map, AI report, and fix plan. Re-scans count as new scans.
Do I need my own AI API keys?
No — CodeTruss can run on platform-managed AI. On Pro and above you can bring your own Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or OpenRouter keys for full control over model choice and spend.
Is my code stored on your servers?
Repositories are downloaded into ephemeral workspaces for analysis and deleted when the scan finishes. Only file metadata (paths, sizes, languages), findings, and architecture facts are persisted — never your source code. One exception, clearly opt-in: when you approve an automated fix, the affected files (max 4) are sent to your configured AI provider to generate the change. Use your own provider keys (Pro+) to keep that traffic in your own account.
What does the Agency plan add?
Client workspaces (separate orgs per client), white-label report exports with your branding, priority job queue, and 25 seats. Agencies typically bill audits to clients at $500–2,000 each.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — billing is through Stripe and you can cancel from the billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
