AI App Launch Check — engineer led

Find the launch blocker before your users do.

A focused 48-hour review for one AI-assisted web app. I trace the riskiest workflow across the code, deployed test environment, auth and tenant boundary, billing or integration state, and the evidence left behind.

Inspect the sample scorecard

One repository · one test environment · one critical workflow · three founding slots

What gets checked

Follow the failure across systems, not just through one file.

Critical workflow

Reproduce one named failure or exercise the workflow most likely to cost revenue, access, data, or buyer trust.

Auth and tenant boundaries

Review sign-in, session behavior, role checks, profile access, and high-risk tenant or row-level-security paths in scope.

Billing and integrations

Inspect Stripe state, webhook handling, API boundaries, retries, and the handoffs where an apparently successful action can diverge from the database.

Deployment and smoke checks

Review secrets and runtime configuration, then run focused browser and API smoke checks in the accepted non-production environment.

You receive

A decision-ready blocker scorecard.

  • A short launch boundary naming the exact repository state, environment, workflow, and exclusions
  • A prioritized scorecard with the top launch blockers, evidence, severity, and recommended next action
  • A focused review of auth/session/tenant, Stripe/webhook/API, secrets/deployment, and core smoke-test risk
  • A recorded walkthrough of the findings and the decision: proceed, proceed with conditions, or stop and repair
  • A fixed-price remediation option when the blocker is suitable for a bounded rescue engagement

Fixed boundary

Small enough to finish fast.

  • No redesign, feature build, rewrite, penetration test, compliance certification, or production-data access
  • No defect remediation is included in the $395 review
  • One application repository, one accepted non-production environment, and one primary workflow
  • The 48-hour clock starts after access, staging, and test-account prerequisites are accepted

How it works

01

Set the boundary

You provide the repo, deployed non-production app, test account, target date, and one workflow that cannot fail.

02

Trace and reproduce

I review the relevant code and configuration, exercise the workflow, and record observed behavior, evidence, and unknowns.

03

Make the call

You receive the ranked scorecard, recorded walkthrough, and a bounded repair option when remediation is appropriate.

Questions

Know exactly what $395 buys.

Is this an automated scanner report?

No. Repository analysis narrows attention, but an engineer reviews the evidence and manually exercises the agreed non-production workflow. The scorecard separates observed behavior from source-only risk and anything not tested.

Will you need production credentials?

No. The Launch Check is designed around a repository, a safe staging or preview environment, and non-production test accounts. Never email passwords, API keys, recovery codes, or production customer data.

Are fixes included?

No. This offer identifies and ranks the launch blockers. If you book a remediation engagement of at least $1,500 within seven days, the $395 review fee is credited toward that first rescue phase.

What if the app is not ready to review?

If the required repository, deployed test environment, or primary workflow is not available, the review does not start. We will first identify the missing prerequisite instead of pretending a source-only scan proves launch readiness.

Bring the one workflow that cannot fail.

Three founding slots are open. Payment secures the review; the delivery clock begins when the safe access prerequisites are accepted.
